Trekking in the Cordillera Huayhuash & Blanca

Multi-day trekking journeys through remote Andean valleys, high alpine passes, glaciated mountain landscapes, and some of the most spectacular trekking terrain in Peru.

Privately structured and fully supported with expert logistics, acclimatisation planning, immersive pacing, and personalised expedition support throughout your time in the Andes.

Walk Through True Andean Scale

The Cordillera Huayhuash and Cordillera Blanca contain some of the most dramatic trekking landscapes in the world — immense glaciated peaks, turquoise alpine lakes, remote valleys, and high mountain passes stretching deep into the Peruvian Andes.

Days unfold slowly through changing terrain: quiet pastoral valleys, granite walls, alpine basins, high ridgelines, and remote camps surrounded by snow-covered summits.

For many trekkers, these journeys become far more than simply walking from one camp to the next. The rhythm of expedition life, the altitude, the isolation, and the scale of the mountains create a rare sense of immersion that stays with people long after they leave Peru.

Fully Supported Multi-Day Expeditions

Our trekking programs are designed as fully supported mountain expeditions — combining experienced guides, carefully managed logistics, acclimatisation planning, and personalised expedition support throughout your time in Peru.

Before entering the mountains, expeditions are supported from Huaraz through boutique accommodation coordination, acclimatisation planning, restaurant dinners, equipment preparation, and carefully paced transition into the high Andes.

Depending on the objective, we can assist with

  • boutique accommodation coordination in Huaraz

  • airport pickup and private transport logistics

  • equipment recommendations and preparation

  • acclimatisation planning

  • glacier acclimatisation experiences in Llaca Valley

  • acclimatisation hikes and recovery days

  • ongoing expedition coordination throughout Peru

Camps are established in remote alpine settings, meals are prepared fresh in the field, and daily pacing is carefully managed to support acclimatisation, recovery, and overall expedition rhythm.

The focus is not rushing from pass to pass, but experiencing the Andes properly.

Curated Trekking Programs

The expeditions below represent a selection of common trekking journeys we organise throughout the Cordillera Huayhuash and Cordillera Blanca.

All programs are privately adapted around acclimatisation, available time, physical preparation, pacing, and the type of mountain experience you want to have in Peru.

Huayhuash Circuit

Widely considered one of the greatest trekking circuits in the world, the Cordillera Huayhuash delivers an extraordinary journey through remote mountain terrain, high alpine passes, turquoise glacial lakes, and dramatic camps beneath some of the highest peaks in Peru.

Our Huayhuash expeditions focus on immersive pacing, strong logistics, small teams, and allowing trekkers to properly experience the scale and atmosphere of the range.

Programs can be organised as shorter 8–10 day Huayhuash journeys or more complete expedition-style circuits depending on acclimatisation, available time, and overall objectives.

Some itineraries also include summit options such as Diablo Mudo or more remote high-pass variations through the range.

Testimonials

The progression they built for me was flawless. By the time we reached high camp on Chopicalqui, I felt acclimatised, calm, and ready. It was less about conquering a mountain and more about entering the environment with respect and the right preparation.
